We suspect Cherry Ripe is an incredibly rare koala joey twin. A local property owner had spotted a mother koala carrying two precious bundles of joy just days before.
Unfortunately, the mother and her other baby moved on before we could bring them in for further assessment.Koala twins are an extraordinary rarity, and it's even more extraordinary for both to survive without human care.
There are many costs involved in hand raising Cherry Ripe including koala milk powder, custom joey climbing frames, trips to source fresh food and regular vet checks and testing by our onsite vet to ensure she is healthy and well.
